The Social Good Nigeria team in partnership with the Embassy of Sweden held the PopUpIncubator hangout in Owerri last week. The hangout held at the Federal University of Technology Owerri with help from the members of Enactus with the aim of raising entrepreneurs who leverage on technology to solve societal problems.
The program was quite interesting and insightful as some participants were exposed to the concept of pitching for the first time. Speaking during the hangout, Jerry Agenyi, a team member from Social Good Nigeria told participants that the most important features of a potential business model lies in it’s ability to address a need, provide employment on the long run and be scalable.
The participants were taught how to access business potential of any idea using the business model canvass and also were divided into groups to evaluate five ideas they selected during a pitching contest.
