CRM International College wins PIN’s Dare to be BIG quiz competition in Owerri


In a very intense and well cordinated contest following a three days ICT training, CRM International College Mgbirichi beat all odds to emerge champions of Paradigm initiative 4 days ICT training and quiz competition that we anounced last week.

The quiz competition took place at FSP Hall along Wetheral road in the capital city of Owerri. Giving his opening remarks before chairing the quiz competition, the Executive Director of Paradigm Initiative, Gbenga Sesan, challenged the participants of the quiz competition to go extra mile in acquiring knowledge and should not depend on class work only. He also told them never to look down on anyone as everyone has the potential to turn our great. He finally asked them to work as a team and wised them luck before the competition commenced.

After three intense rounds, CRM International college emerged winner. First runenr up was Chosen International Secondary School, Mgbidi, while the second runner up was Urban Development Secondary School, Umuna, Orlu. The winners received many ICT gadgets as prizes to further encourage them to take ICT seriously.

Some of the teachers who reacted to the quiz competition questions said they were too hard and too technical but the Media Director of the organization, Olamide informed them that it has to go beyond the classroom work and usual curriculum in order to challenge the students and the teachers to look beyond the classroom.
