Various media houses reported the arrest of former Imo State Governor, Ikedi Ohakim by agents of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) last week. However, a report on Linda Ikeji’s blog showed a press statement from his office after his release barely five hours after his arrest. He was arrested at his Asokoro residence in Abuja for alleged financial misappropriations during his tenure as Governor (four years after!).

Just wondering why they are arresting him now after he even ran for his party’s ticket during the last governorship elections.
