The social media week kicked off yesterday (February 22) in Lagos state. This years’ event will be the third time the event is holding in Nigeria. The event has consistently drawn industry and thought leaders across various sectors of the economy to discuss ways of advancing their work using technology and social media.
The event is taking place at the land mark center located on the Victoria island with other independent events happening across Lagos. It features discussions, panels, masterclasses, fireside chats, hangouts and networking events. Discussions here go beyond social media (Facebook, Twitter, whatsapp etc) and highlights strategic and innovative ways of using these tools to achieve set business, organizational and personal objectives.
Deliberations during the week also cut across politics, sports, governance, business, health etc
We are currently attending the event and would be sharing knowledge and lessons learned in th coming weeks. If you are from Owerri and attending the conference, we would love to meet up with you 😉
